Kulturprojekte Niederrhein Association Establishes Partnership with The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo
On the occasion of the terrorist attack in southern Israel, Kulturprojekte Niederrhein has agreed a partnership with the Academic College. They are expressing their sympathy in the form of direct support. The Kulturprojekte Niederrhein association is supporting 30 Academic College students directly affected by the terror attack with a call for donations. Students from Ramle, Moers' twin town, are also involved in the campaign.
On March 4, 2024, a solidarity concert for the victims of October 7 and all people who have to suffer from violence and hatred took place in the Jewish community of Duisburg. During this evening, representatives of the Kulturprojekte Niederrhein association and the Academic College Tel Aviv-Yafo discussed the following questions:
- How has the college community reacted to the terror?
- What is life like now?
- What is the special profile of the college as a place of learning for students from the broad spectrum of Israeli society?
- What future collaborations between the college and Kulturprojekte Niederrhein are on the way?
The desire and intention to develop future projects for peace and friendship together as partners was ceremoniously recorded in a certificate that evening.
