Invitation: WE ARE CONNECTED. In Past, Presence and Future.
Networking Conference in the Process of Establishing a German-Israeli Youth Office

For educators and representatives of youth exchange programs, school partnerships, vocational training, and volunteer services

Date: November 23–27, 2025
Location: Berlin

German-Israeli (youth) exchange programs experience difficult times:
After October 7, it is almost impossible for encounters to take place. Challenging logistical and security obstacles are blocking the prospects for advance planning. Nevertheless, many partnerships remain in close contact. They do not want to give up the cooperation that has been meaningful and important to them over the years.

ConAct – Coordination Center for German-Israeli Youth Exchange and the Israel Youth Exchange Authority would like to once again create an opportunity for exchange partnerships to stay in touch NOW. The network conference in November 2025 will provide a space to listen to each other and ask questions about current developments in education and society in Israel and Germany. It will create space to make contacts, plan ahead, and look forward to better times and exchange projects coming up in 2026.

The 2025 Networking Conference is another step toward strengthening the network of German-Israeli youth contacts on the way to establishing a German-Israeli Youth Office. Representatives and committed educators from various exchange formats, including youth exchanges, school partnerships, vocational training, and volunteer services, are therefore invited to participate in this conference. The central idea is to strengthen existing collaborations and enable new ones – YOU are cordially invited to join us!

  • Invite your German/Israeli cooperation partner and meet up at the conference!
  • Share your experiences by offering a workshop on your educational work or exchange projects together with your partner!
  • Bring your questions and ideas to the open space session!
